Anti-Donald Trump demonstrators flew a "Trump baby" balloon over London's Parliament Square today during the U.S. president's visit to the United Kingdom. • Demonstrators later filled Trafalgar Square while chanting and holding homemade placards as part of their "carnival of resistance" to Trump's visit. • Trump took exception to the protest, telling the Sun on Thursday he felt "unwelcome" in London in an article that was critical of British Prime Minister Theresa May. It's a boy! • The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, a second son, at St. Mary's Hospital in London, U.K. Monday. • Kate Middleton, 36, delivered the baby boy — weighing eight pounds, seven ounces — in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital at 6:01 a.m. ET (11:01 a.m. London time), just a few hours after she was admitted. • Prince William and Kate married in 2011. Their other children are Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, who will be three years old next month. All three children were born at the same hospital where William and younger brother Prince Harry came into the world. • The birth holds historical significance, particularly for Charlotte. Prince Harry has a new job and Meghan Markle will be joining him. • The 33-year-old delivered his first speech as the Queen’s Commonwealth youth ambassador, his highest-profile public role to date. • “In my new role, I will work to support The Queen, my father The Prince of Wales, and my brother William, all of whom know that young people are the answer to the challenges of today," Harry said. 📺🇬🇧🇨🇦Les amateurs de la populaire télésérie Downton Abbey n’auront pas oublié le magnifique château qui a servi au tournage de ce drame d’époque. • Aujourd’hui, c’est un drapeau canadien qui flotte sur ce joyau de l’architecture britannique pour y célébrer la création de l’Acte de l’Amérique du Nord britannique, qui donna naissance au Canada dans sa version contemporaine. • Le château Highclere est en effet l’endroit où s’est rendu, en décembre 1866, le politicien canadien et futur premier ministre John A. Macdonald en compagnie de deux collègues. Les trois hommes y ont rencontré le comte de Carnarvon, alors secrétaire responsable des Colonies. • Celui-ci voulait s’assurer que la colonie canadienne ne soit pas absorbée par les États-Unis. A horrendous fire in a London highrise apartment building has left 12 people dead. Police say the death toll "will sadly increase." • The 24-storey Grenfell Tower in North Kensington was still smouldering 14 hours after the fire started. • More than 200 firefighters battled the blaze. "In my 29 years of being a firefighter, I have never, ever seen anything of this scale," said Dany Cotton, commissioner of the London Fire Department. • The cause of the fire was not immediately known. These boots adorned with poppies at the Canadian National Memorial in northern France represent the 3,598 Canadians who died at Vimy Ridge 100 years ago. • A ceremony to mark the centennial was held at the memorial Sunday.
